Privacy and cookies.

We collect little, keep it to ourselves, and use no cookies. Below, article by article, what happens to your data when you visit the site and when you write to us.

Who handles your data

The data controller is the company that publishes this site. For any question about your data, write to the address below: a person answers.

Art. 2

What we collect when you visit

Like any web server, the server hosting this site logs the technical data of each request: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser. They are used only to run the site and protect it from abuse, are never combined with other data, and are deleted within 30 days.

To know which pages are read we use Umami, an analytics system installed on our own server. It sets no cookies, does not keep your IP address and cannot recognise the same visitor from one day to the next: it counts visits, not people. The data is shared with no one.

The typefaces are served by this site itself: your browser does not contact Google or any other provider to load them.

Art. 3

What we collect when you write to us

The site's forms (analysis request, course request, master's, questions, membership) ask only for what is needed to answer:

  • name, email and, for the master's, a phone number;
  • the practice, the city, the role or the degree, when needed to understand the request;
  • the text you write.

We use them to answer you and, if you ask, to prepare a proposal: the legal basis is pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We do not use them for newsletters or advertising without your explicit, separate and revocable consent.

For the master's, SYOR is Official Partner of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele. We pass your data to the university's office only when you ask us to help you enrol; from then on the university handles it under its own privacy notice.

Questions sent from Q&A may be published in Mediamix only with your consent, and anonymously if you prefer.

Art. 4

For how long

  • Server technical logs: up to 30 days.
  • Requests that do not become an engagement: 24 months from the last contact, then deleted.
  • Requests that become an engagement: for the length of the relationship, and accounting records for the 10 years required by law.
Art. 5

Who else sees it

The data stays with us and with the consultants who handle your request. The providers hosting the site and the email see it only as far as their technical role requires, bound by a processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). The servers are in the European Union. We sell or hand data to no one.

The course films are hosted on Vimeo. The player loads only when you press play, with the "do not track" option on; from then on Vimeo receives the technical data of the connection, under its own privacy policy.

Art. 6

Cookies

This site uses no cookies: no profiling, no analytics, no third-party cookies. That is why we do not ask for consent and you see no banner.

The only thing the site saves in your browser is the language you chose (Italian or English), in the browser's local storage. It is not sent to us or anyone else, and you can clear it from your browser settings.

When the members' area opens, logging in will use a single technical session cookie, needed to stay signed in and deleted when you sign out. Technical cookies need no consent (Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code); this page will be updated before that happens.

Art. 7

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict its use, receive it in a readable format, or object to its processing (Arts. 15–22 GDPR). One email to info@arianto.it is enough: we answer within 30 days.

If you believe the processing breaks the law, you can complain to the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.

Art. 8

Changes

If the way we handle data changes, this page changes, with the date at the top. We tell anyone who has already written to us about substantial changes.
